Rob Rohrke won first and second places, for tuna of 78 and 63.6 pounds. He said he got the big one in 12 minutes, on a sardine and a 3/0 Super Mutu hook. He fished with 40-pound Big Game line on a Beastmaster reel and a 6460 Calstar rod.
Paul Allen of Pinetop, AZ was third, for a 63.2-pound yellowfin tuna.
