On Jan. 21, Joe Christensen fished the mouth of the dam arm and reported slow fishing. Joe used a white jig tipped with a mealworm. Another angler recently reported fast fishing using a small, white glow-in-the-dark Rat Finkee tipped with a piece of salad shrimp. On Jan. 20, conservation officers checked anglers at the reservoir and reported uniformly slow fishing. Most of the fish were caught using small jigs tipped with mealworms. The trout averaged 12 inches.
