http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=537Fishing these last two weeks hasn't been at its best. Fishing for Stripers, Catfish, and Bass has been very slow. Bait fishing might be your best bet for Stripers using Anchovies and Night Crawlers. Fishing for Bass is a little bit trickier try using bait fish like lures and jigging Craws. The slowest most natural presentation might produce some fish. Try catfishing with Mackerel or Sardines in shallow water with lots of structures such as trees or brush in the late evenings. Fishing for Trout has been fairly good with decent size fish being caught daily. Try your luck drifting or trolling for Trout using Micetails, powerbait, and/or Night crawlers. A lot of the Trout are running shallow so try fishing off the bank from the East Beach and Lower Narrows.

The water temperature is 50 degrees at the end of the dock. Fish plants have slowed down as for the Striper bite as well. Only fish being reported this week being caught are Trout off of Mice Tails, Power worms, Power bait, and night crawlers along the East Beach and Narrows mostly still; drifting in a boat or fishing off shore seems to work best. Swimbaits, pencil poppers, or Lunker punkers would be your best bet to try for Stripers......
