Friday's fishing was again good for the Ventura boats. Now with the weekend upon us, we look forward to all three boats getting in on the action! Pacific Eagle and Island Spirit will have the local islands, Anacapa and Santa Cruz Island. Pacific Dawn will have a multi-day opportunity to fish both Santa Rosa and San Miguel Island.

Bottom fishing has been the "name of the game" in Ventura County.. catching nice red snapper, lingcod, sheephead and more! Bring your jigs and other hard baits, plus your shrimp flies and 8oz to 12oz sinkers. Not a lot of tackle is required, but be sure to have enough for your entire day.
