http://www.kenssport.comWe've had a couple good reports on the West this week, it sounds like the fish are being a bit picky but anglers are bagging a few here and there. Sounds like by far the best patterns to try are small black or olive wooly buggers. The water is very clear on the West so you really need to be sneaky so as not to spook those fish. It also sounds like most of the fish that are being caught are very nice, in the 18 to 22 inch range! Also, keep in mind that it's the West Walker that is open now, NOT the Little Walker. We've seen some anglers fishing on the Little where it is still closed, make sure you're on the right stretches of water or you risk being cited for poaching.
