We finished the trip with a bang and we feel very lucky for what we caught. Today we found totally different conditions from yesterday. The water moved down and the kelps were even harder to come by. We didn't catch our first fish until after lunch ...but it was a good one! Then we found another kelp shortly after that, just before we had to call it a trip.

We caught 36 yellows up to 30lbs and 19 dorados up to 20lbs. Here's a little tip for fishing kelps for these fish. Those using a bigger hook than normal landed more fish, because when these fish bite they really bite! Our traveling weather is wonderful.

Captain Mike and The Boys with Searcher Sportfishing are ready to take you fishing! TRIPS are open for booking, so don’t miss out. BOOK ONLINE. For all things Searcher visit our WEBSITE.SUBSCRIBE to our Youtube channel. Questions? EMAIL or give us a call at (619) 226-2403. See you aboard!
