Big fish of the day was on the Pacific Dawn, an 18lb lingcod caught by Steve Karsemeyer from Sacramento. The "dawn" ended up with full limits of lingcod and limits of red snapper for all of it's anglers. Island Spirit and Pacific Eagle were also out on the water today. Local island fishing has also put out some nice fish.. like the one pictured here. Jigs and plastics working really well this year for bottom fishing.. doesn't seem to matter if its at Anacapa Island or San Miguel.. the bottom fish are biting! Saturday we again have all three boats out on the water.. sold out at this point, but Sunday we have open spots! Pacific Dawn departing at 9:00pm on Saturday night to fish Sunday, and again leaving Sunday night returning Monday. Pacific Eagle departs at 5:00am both Saturday and Sunday morning. Island Spirit departs Sunday morning at 6am for a 3/4 day trip. Be sure to call and reserve.. all of our trips are "Limited Load" (805) 676-3474
