Two weeks till Opener - can you believe it - almost feels like Summer up here in Bishop with temps in the low 80's. Looks like we're in for a repeat of last year. Got a good portion of snow in the last month or so and with this heat, the run-off is going to start early this year. Rick was up at the Lake about 3 weeks ago - the back natural Lake was about a third ice-free - so not expecting any ice fishing this year at Lake Sabrina. Remember, that back Lake is still 200 feet deep, so there's plenty of water to fish - if you take a hike or have 4-wheel drive.


As far as we know, the outflow pipes are still wide open for mandatory flows to the valley.

Lake Sabrina Boat Landing will serve Breakfast from 7:00am to 11:00am and Lunch until 4:00pm on Saturday and Sunday for Opener after that it will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And, yes, there will be homemade pie and ice cream on the weekends. Our store hours are as follows:

Sunday: 7:00 to 5:00pm
Monday: 8:00 to 5:00pm
Tuesday: 8:00 to 5:00pm
Wednesday: CLOSED
Thursday: 8:00 to 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00 to 5:00pm
Saturday: 7:00 to 5:00pm
