http://www.flyandfield.com/index.htmDavis lake is always an adventure up there. It always seems to be a different scenario with the fishing. Good days, Bad days, but then again that is just fishing. The Bass really show no sign of dying off anytime soon, in fact their population must be growing judging by all the 4-10in LMB I have been catching. I hope some day we can get that lake back to normal as far as the native fish. However, If they are there... may as well fish for them, right? Still having a lot of mixed reports, the lake will tend to fish better on the sunnier non-windy days. Poppers and leeches along the weed beds and lava rock. The windy cloudy days should be fished deeper and with big heavy long leeches also along the lava rock and weed beds.
