After a few blustery days the wind and seas have calmed and fishing has taken on a more spring like direction with warmer waters making the Calico bass wake up and Yellowtail bite with a fury.

Wednesday's fishing saw the San Diego's 3/4 day trip land 32 Yellowtail, 2 Barracuda and 20 rockfish. The New Seaforth's afternoon 1/2 day trip caught over 250 calico bass(11 keepers) and 40 Rockish.

Along with good local surface fishing and this past weekends unprecedented catch of Yellowfin Tuna in May, plus Bluefin and Yellowtail offshore, it appears Spring has sprung!
