The West is fishing really well down through the canyon and some in the Pickle Meadows area. Panther martins and mepps are working for the spin anglers, bait folks are using salmon eggs, power eggs, mice tails and crawlers. Fly anglers can go with hopper dropper rigs, attractor nymphs and attractor dries, patterns to try include: royal wulff, royal coachman, madam x, stacker hopper, para hopper, ants, beetles, prince nymph, zug bug and pheasant tail.
