Rockport Reservoir Fish Port

Utah Division of Wildlife

Report Date:

http://wildlife.utah.gov

Fishing continues to be really good at Rockport. Boaters are having the most success. Try trolling with your favorite tackle. Rainbows in the 13- to 17-inch range are common. Bank fishing is a little slower, but anglers are still catching a few rainbows. The cooler temperatures this week should keep the fishing hot. Smallmouth bass fishing really turned on when water temperatures hit the mid to upper 60s. Target rocky shorelines using soft plastics that imitate crawfish, and you should pick up some nice fish. Thanks to Park Manager Joe Donnell for the fishing report.
