Hyrum Reservoir & State Park Fish Report

Utah Division of Wildlife

Report Date:

Fishing is good. The water is level is going down, which is freeing up more shoreline access around the reservoir. Anglers report catching fish by the docks and from the shore off the rocks. On July 1, the reservoir was stocked with about 20,000 five-inch brown trout. With the right conditions, these browns should grow to a catchable size by next spring. Hyrum State Park will start a tagged fish contest in September.
