Hi Anglers,

July 2014 is taking shape like no other in recent years.

Massive schools of Bluefin, Yellowfin, Dorado and Yellowtail are all within easy range of San Diego.

Fishing is fantastic for trips in the 1 to 3.5 day range.

What does all this mean? Great action for you, the offshore angler.

Now is the time to look ahead and schedule your dates.

This past week, catches took an upward tick, and the action was HOT.

Both the Ranger 85 and Coral Sea are positioned at H&M Landing and will be heading offshore offering trips from 1.5 to 3.5 days.

While we do offer a limited schedule of 1 Day Trips throughout the season, I'm often asked what the difference is in offering the longer 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 Day Trips?

First, it is important to understand that we have been a LEADER in 1.5 Day Trips since acquiring the Ranger 85 over 15 years ago.

2014 marks our 25th Anniversary fishing offshore from San Diego, and my 35th year in Sportfishing!

When purchasing the Ranger 85, we recognized a demand for a quality offshore experience in a short range trip.

Often our anglers would complain of having to head for home at 2 pm when the afternoon bite was heating up.

Like lemmings, the entire fleet would be marching home to make it in for the next trip departing that evening...leaving all that biting fish behind.

We began to offer one of the most extensive 1.5 Day schedules in the fleet, providing an honest Sunup to Sundown angling day!

While the rest of the fleet headed for home, we had the grounds to ourselves and our counts reflected it.

In the following years, we expanded our schedule to include 2.5 and 3.5 day trips affording our anglers TWO and THREE FULL DAYS OF FISHING!.

We arrive home the following morning by 6 am, giving you plenty of time for the commute home and the rest of the day to plan your next trip!

This season as always, we are offering a full schedule of LIMITED LOAD TRIPS on the RANGER 85, and with last year's great success, once again ULTRA LIMITED LOAD TRIPS on the CORAL SEA.

We realize you have many choices when it comes to fishing offshore, and we welcome the opportunity to earn your business by providing you with the most customer service offered by any other vessels in our fleet.
