The best thing to use is a small, single hook. Then, tip the hook with a small piece of worm or a salmon egg, and place it 12 to 18 inches under a bobber. The ponds are a great place to introduce kids to the fun of fishing. Fingerling wipers were recently stocked and with the right conditions, they should be catchable by next spring.
