The fish are in the 12-30# range, and both boats are reporting nice weather. Trips are booking up fast, so make your reservations early!

Offshore fishing for Bluefin, Yellowfin, Yellowtail and a few Dorado continues to be good with tuna up to 45-50 pounds being boated. Anchovies and sardines have been the bait of choice so rod/reel combos of 20#-50# line are recommended as well as hook sizes from#2 to 3/0. Flourocarbon leaders or top shots are also a good idea as they provide higher abbrasion resistance and less visibility than mono. Many trips are are now fishing U.S. waters so bring a California license......
