Fishing seems best in the early- to mid-morning and in the evening. Anglers report catching a lot of fish throughout the reservoir, but it's taking a long time to catch them. Anglers are catching crappie around the port ramp using worms and curly tail grubs. A couple of anglers have been able to catch muskie using jointed Rapalas. In eight hours, two anglers caught 45 smallmouth bass and a lot of crappie just off Anderson cove.
