Captain Justin Fleck called in with an update from the Big X. We have been fishing offshore for 3 days now. There are Yellowfin Tuna from San Clemente Island down into Mexico. It seems to be an afternoon bite right now. We did pick up 15 Bluefin Tuna (up to 120 pounds) right near San Clemente Island. We are seeing these large Bluefin Tuna as close as 9 miles from Point Loma. It is not often that we get to fish those guys so close to home. We have one more day tomorrow and then we will be heading back to Point Loma. We will keep you posted with another report tomorrow!
