Capt Justin called in from the Excel as they left today on their 8 Day Tuna Wars trip. We started fishing 25 miles from the dock in California water and found some really nice grade of fish. The fish averaged 70 to 120 lbs with some smaller grade fixed in with them. We a going to spend a couple more days in the area, it is really impressive to find this quality of fish this close to home. We will check in again soon.
