It's nice to start off the day with a soft hackle or streamer and hope to catch a beautiful brown. When the sun gets a little higher you can trade in your swinging rig for a rubberlegs and a serendipity. Saturday will begin 5 days of overcast weather. During those days you can fish streamers and soft hackles all day and have a good shot at catching fish. You should also keep your eyes out for Baetis. Even though they're small mayflies they get big fish feeding on top. Today and tomorrow will provide good caddis fishing. White Millers and other caddis have made for fun evening fishing here the past two weeks. Fall spawner fishing is in full swing! We still have Shakey Beeley's in the bin so stop in and pick up a few.

The Firehole has been keeping anglers happy for well over a month now. The White Millers have been active in such large numbers that they are blinding fisherman. Fish have been jumping clear out of the water and snatching adults as they can often been seen doing during White Miller times. Don't forget about the brown trout in the Firehole.
