Boulder Basin has been a hot spot for anglers over the past week. While the size of the striped bass is on the smaller side, the quantity is there. Boils are happening early and top-water baits are the ticket. Spinnows have enticed many fish, but you can also try a Jumpin' Minnow or a Zara Spook. Smallmouth bass are hanging off cliff walls in about 20 to 25 feet of water and taking baits fished on a dropshot.
