The brown trout are aggressive and preparing to spawn. Anglers report good fishing for browns, rainbows and whitefish using worms throughout the river. Anglers are also seeing success using beaded spinners and a fly and a bubble near the dam. During the day, anglers are having success using black woolly buggers, streamers, hoppers, baetis and caddis flies. During the evening, anglers prefer to use nymphs, pheasant tails and scuds. Many thanks to Colton from Roundrocks Fly Shop in Logan for the report.
