Report Date:
http://wildlife.utah.govBass fishing has been incredible at Mantua. Anglers are catching bass all along the rocky shore on the west side of the reservoir. Fishing is best in the evening, but you can still catch fish throughout the day. Try using spinner baits and perch-colored Rapalas. The bass are in the shallow water, so cast parallel to the shore. Water levels are extremely low on the south and southeast sides, as well as the northern shore. It is still possible to launch boats and other small watercraft from the boat ramp, but please use extreme caution. You do not want to get stuck while trying to launch a larger boat. Please remember that fishing is prohibited along the sandy shore and within 300 feet of either side of the boat ramp and dock.
