Biologist Scott Tolentino reports that shore anglers are catching lake trout in the morning and evening at the State Park Marina and Cisco Beach. Tolentino said that the spawning lake trout are biting less. Fly anglers are using white zonkers, or other large white colored streamers, and spinning anglers are seeing success with spoons and Fibrax spinners. Boat anglers are also finding success trolling flatfish off 2nd Point or jigging tube jigs near rockpiles in 55-65 feet of water. Please remember to keep your distance from other anglers.
