Fishing is great right now. Anglers are still catching big brood fish that were stocked in the pond. On a recent trip, a father and son had a great day fishing. They caught 28 trout, using a variety of lures. The trout were biting on rooster tails; silver spoons; red, white and gold loopers; and silver lil' Jakes lures. Over the weekend, another angler reported catching 16 fish on lures. In previous weeks, anglers have had success using leeches about eight inches under the surface or worms throughout the water column.
