http://www.ndow.orgThose taking advantage of improved weather conditions have found success for various species. Striped bass are showing all along the river. The current may take some getting used to, but once you acquire your rhythm you will be catching fish. Anchovies have worked well for fish in the one- to three-pound range, and lures can only increase your action as well as the opportunity of catching some larger fish. Catfish have been active as well with most taking anchovies. Sunshine Peninsula or near Davis Dam have been lucky spots for some. While most of the trout have dispersed and are in hiding holes, anglers are still bringing in fish with night crawlers or spinning lures, such as Rooster Tails or Panther Martins.
