Report Date:
http://wildlife.utah.govAngler Tom Ogden fished Lost Creek on Friday in his kick boat. He used fly tackle in the boat ramp arm of the reservoir from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. He had the most success with fast-sinking line (#7), a size 4 beadhead black/silver crystal bugger and a size 6 beadhead green meanie pattern. He caught almost all of his fish near the bottom (in 18-25 feet of water). He did not hook a fish until after 10 a.m. but ended up with three rainbows and seven cutthroats. One rainbow and one cutthroat were below the slot, and the rest were 16 to 18 inches long. The water temperature was around 41??F. He didn't catch any tigers, splake or chubs and was pleased to see that the fish were larger than the ones he caught during his last visit. Thanks for the great report, Tom!
