PowerBait in colors from orange to rainbow and Zeke's Sierra Gold have been taking rainbow trout at Willow Beach last week. Anglers have had some success with a variety of hardware as well, including Jake's Lures, Super Dupers, Panther Martins and other spinners. Shore fishermen and boaters alike were successful. Striper anglers were successful using lures that resembled small rainbow trout in the three- to four-inch range.

Anglers fishing out of Cottonwood Cove have been finding fair to good striper fishing with prepared bait in the coves north of the marina. Both stripers and catfish are averaging up to 20 inches in length. Most fish are being caught in the early morning and late evening hours. Blue gill are plentiful.
