The East is still running at 20 cfs right now. We had a bit of a cold snap last week but the last few days have been pretty warm with some overcast days and a little bit of snow up high. The fishing is doing pretty well but you still need to keep in mind that with the low flows the fish are pretty concentrated in the deeper pools, pockets and slots. You really need to be sneaky right now with these conditions so you don't spook the fish. It seems that the best time of day to be on the water is from about 9am to 3pm still and with the daytime air temps being in the 40's it's been pretty nice down there. Nymphing has been the mainstay but there's been some decent dry action from time to time as well. Patterns to try include flashback emergers, zebra midge, wd-40, top secret midge, rainbow warrior, san juan worm, para adams, bwo, blue dun and if you want to drag some heavy streamers through the deep pools go with something heavy like a conehead zuddler or conehead moal leech.
