Same old story here on the tuna grounds ??? "slow tuna fishing." Today started with Dorado around the boat in the dark, and after getting a good amount of those it was time to start glassing (man, my eyes hurt!). Anyhow, we did find a good amount of life and the tuna were in high gear, we would get on top of them, throw some bait and they would just keep hauling a**!!!! A huge Wahoo was caught by Derek Cornell. Let me tell you about Derek, he is truly on vacation, sleeps in, then reads a book for awhile before falling asleep in the galley. Then he watches a movie (or 2) and when he fishes the luck is there (with a lot of skill to go with it!) The Wahoo he caught was a trophy as some of our older passengers stated, "that sucker is the biggest I've ever seen! He then went right back to his book. We are now headed north with yellowtail in mind, cross your fingers for us. Til tomorrow ??? Q105 crew out!

We managed to make plenty of bait to fill our wells......

The morning began with us chasing a nice school of tuna traveling about 6.5 knots. Problem was, with the weather up, we could only travel about 6.4 knots. We did manage to get on a spot later in the day for a few very......
