Kokanee bite is picking up near Deer Island. Find the fish between 42 and 50 feet but most are small, up to a pound. Pink hoochies with corn will do the trick. Smallmouth bass are caught upriver near Twin Coves on drop-shot rigs. Shore anglers are struggling to get trout. (209) 772-8108
