http://norcal.fishreports.comWater temperature is 66 degrees. As the water temps rise, the fish can drop down. It is not unusual to see fish rolling on the surface busting the emerging hatch. We have three. Midges, black sedge caddis and small spinner & minnow mayflies. It won’t be long before the dragon flies and damsels hatch.
Trollers are dropping lines a little deeper after sunrise. Rising water temps and flat water have dropped the trout down during the morning. We have another week of warm temps in the mid to high 80’s which will gradually keep warming up the surface temp. Follow the fish.
