http://norcal.fishreports.comSilver Lake received a nice boost this week thanks to a surprise load of 1,000 pounds of nice fish from Desert Springs put in by Southern California Edison. That load coupled with our weekly stocking of 800 pounds from DFW has really helped fishing at Silver Lake. The weather has been a little on the warmer side this past week but it has not slowed fishing down to much as long as you take your baits deep to the bottom of the lake as that is where all the fish are hanging out. The is no Magic Potion this week for catching as usual, mid day is slower when its hot and better early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Rainbow Glitter Garlic, straight Garlic, Salmon egg Red, and Salmon Peach Power Baits have seen some good results, as has worms, and Berkley Mice Tails. If you have the capability to troll deep, Speedy Shiners, or other types of flashers will work well. The bugs are out more this week than last week so tossing some small flies like a caddis, Nymphs, or mosquitos early and late should also show some great results. Silver Lake (760) 648-7525
