http://norcal.fishreports.comSalmon bite is strong early in the morning and late in the evening. Once the sun gets high, fish are holding in deeper water and are hard to entice. The early a.m. action comes on Kwikfish, roe, jigs, spinners – just about anything. Salmon are fresh and bright. There are salmon from Boyds Pump to the Outlet with best action above Gridley where the water is cooler. Some fish are being caught below Shanghai Bend. Steelhead to four pounds are being caught on glo bugs, nightcrawlers and a variety of flies. Steelhead are above the outlet in the Low Flow. Johnson’s Bait & Tackle (530) 674-1912
