http://www.ndow.orgAnglers have found some success for rainbow trout while fishing below the hatchery at Willow Beach. One fisherman reeled in a 20-inch rainbow that he caught on PowerBait. The fish have been biting during the early morning hours, but the bite shuts off completely by 11 a.m. High winds in recent days have made fishing an uncomfortable experience. In the lake's southern reaches anglers have found success for stripers, catfish and even largemouth bass. Stillfishing and trolling have both produced fish.
