http://www.excelsportfishing.comCapt Justin checked in from the Excel, today was our second day at Hurricane Banks and we started getting bit around 4:30 in the morning. We were getting bit on the sinker rigs and PL68s, we also got some bites on Skipjack unfortunately we we not able to get them all. We lost one around 250 lbs we got it to the boat twice but just could not close the deal. Dean Jefferies did manage to get a 220 lber on a Skipjack in the dark. We ended the day with 30 Yellowfin for our efforts all of a very nice grade, all fish we tagged were over 100lbs. After daylight the tuna disappeared for awhile, but showed back up midday and we were able to pick at them the rest of the day. The weather is great and a 5 knot breeze and every is having a good time, we are going to spend the night here and try again tomorrow. We will check back in again later.
