Despite last week's rains, anglers still reported successful fishing. While the shad have been a little less than cooperative, the shad caught did well in bringing in the stripers. The fish have been found at depths of about 65 to 90 feet, with most ranging about two to four pounds. With clear skies going into the weekend, now is a good time to get in on the fishing opportunities ahead.
