Report Date:
http://wildlife.utah.govFishing is good. Most anglers are catching their limit in four or five hours. The perch are very small, though. Try using nightcrawlers, orange PowerBait or ice flies with mealworms, shrimp or wax worms. On Feb. 3, park ranger Eric Bradshaw report that the ice is about four or five inches thick with a layer of grey slush on top. Because the water level is rising water level and the weather has been warm, the ice on the edges is very sofeet and there are three to eight feet of open water separating the ice from the shore. Anglers' ice fishing holes are not freezing over either. We do not recommend venturing out on the ice right now.
