The Little Truckee is a good bet but the water is very low so it will require a very careful approach to succeed. Approach is everything! You must keep your profile low near the rivers edge where the fish can't see you and make sure to step gently along the bank. The fish are very sensitive to angler presence. The key to catching the fish is to go small with tiny nymph and midge imitations fished under small indicators. Look for afternoon hatches of small Blue Winged Olive mayflies and dark midges that will bring fish to the surface.
