The crappie made a good showing this week on the east end of the lake. Multiple anglers were able to anchor up and bring in between 6-10 fish each primarily on jigs paired with a crappie nibble. The bass continues to bite the best off of the lunch station. Most are being caught about 15ft deep on senkos, spinners, and nightcrawlers. Catfish hit the best in 7-11am and 4-6pm range in virtually every inlet on the lake this week. Mackerel, dough baits, chicken liver, panther martins and nightcrawlers all worked for many fishermen.

Other anglers did well drop shotting Gulp minnows and pumpkin worms. The catfish hit hard throughout the day for shore fishermen and boaters alike off nightcrawlers and stink baits including mackerel, bloody dough......

The bass were not under much pressure this week but some small mouth were found just off E point......
