The Island Spirit checked in today with near limits of rockfish for 18 anglers, with bonus whitefish, sheephead and lingcod to boot! The fishing wasn't easy, but our guys stayed the course and are now on their way home with sacks full of tasty rockfish filets for their friends and families!

We're really busy here at Ventura Sportfishing gearing up for the Western Outdoor News "Rockfish Rumble" on Thursday. It's gonna be a blast with cash prizes and tons of other goodies to be awarded at the weigh in! Even if you're not a participant, feel free to come on down to the landing and join in on the festivities and watch the winner take their crown! 

Immediately following the "Rockfish Rumble" on Thursday, the Amigo will be doing a turn around overnight trip, departing at 9:00 pm, fishing all day Friday. There's still a little space available, but you should book soon because it's going fast!
