Smallmouth bite is very good on the Chester side of the lake or Gould Swamp. Throw rip baits or plastics. Bass are on the beds. Trout bite is good early. It’s done by mid-morning. It takes a fast troll with Needlefish. Jigging also is good. Blood midge hatch is on. Let the birds tell you where it’s on. Trout are keying on the blood midge.
