http://www.countyofsb.org/parks/cachuma.sbcThe trout fishing was nothing short of excellent this week. Four rainbows weighing 8-10Ibs were reported this week to top the charts. Among the countless fishermen catching limits was Santa Ynez Valley local Nick Giese, who brought in an 8.5 pounder to cap off his 30+ fish morning. Trolling CD-5, CD-7, and CD-9 black and gold Rapalas was the hot ticket for hooking onto the big trout. Small mouth bass were biting trolling lures just west of Lil Cachuma and off of E Point as well. The majority of fish were caught on the west end of the lake this week where most of the bait has been pushed to.
