Yellowfin Tuna and Yellowtail

Captain Todd Myer aboard the Voyager has called in with 60 yellowtail (limits) and 13 yellowfin tuna for only 6 anglers on a one day trip. He is looking at large schools of bluefin tuna that he hopes will bite. The San Diego had limit style fishing for yellowtail yesterday and today they had 50 yellowtail at the Coronado Islands. This is a nice grade of fish averaging 15lbs apiece and are very willing to eat a fly lined bait and the surface jig.

Captain Ryan Bostian aboard the San Diego has called in with limits of yellowtail(80) for his 16 anglers. This is a great grade of fish averaging 15lbs apiece with a few larger fish mixed in. Be prepared to fish a fly lined bait, surface jig or yo yo jig. The San Diego departs daily at 5:30am. A valid passport or passport card is required to board regardless of age.......

They have only been fishing for several hours and with fish still hanging who knows how many they could end up with by the end of the day.
