Bait population is thick. Guide Don Paganelli reports more bait balls than in recent years, probably due to mild winter temperatures. There are still smallmouth on beds in the north end of the lake. Top water bite should go crazy once that spawn is done. Quality bass are being caught as well as big numbers.
