The calico bass have been biting, rockfishing has been good and the lings have been coming over the rail, too. There's some seabass, yellowtail and halibut periodically and the sun has been shining.

It was a beautiful day out on the water for us here at Ventura Sportfishing. We had the Island Spirit out and they racked up a very impressive limit of rockfish for 30 anglers a long with 48 whitefish and a handful of sheephead. The weather has taken a turn for the better and the day was great with the sun shining. this week we have several open party trips on the Amigo, the Island Spirit and the Pacific Dawn. You......
