Shad bite lingers outside Chico

Shad continue to bite, best in the morning, but the bite persists through the day. Striper bite is decent. There is a top water bite in the morning. Not as much in the evening. Most are in the 17 inch range. Fish the flats with poppers or streamers. Bass are found from Butte City to Chico. The Tackle Box (530) 898-9761; Fish First (530) 343-8300
