Report Date:
http://norcal.fishreports.comStrong winds plagued fisherman this week, many of them not able to escape the wind all day. The water temp is climbing into the upper 70s which is turning on the stripers. Striped bass are feeding on shad under the surface about 5-15 feet. They still are not on the boil pattern yet, we see them bust the surface occasionally but it is not consistent with years past. Largemouth bass are feeding on shad as well and we have been catching them on small jerk baits such as Lucky Crafts or Yozuri pin minnows. The smallmouth are becoming active hitting spinners like panther martins about 15-25 feet down. (925) 449-5201
