The summer steelie run is pretty much over although you may still hook into a straggler or two. The mainly wild fish winter steelhead run gets into the Fly Only water in February and March. It's still worth a trip down there to try to get a late fish or to scope out the prime runs for the next run... the beauty of the canyon is worth the trip alone!
