Trout bite is doing well and some holdovers are being landed. Best way to get action is casting Power Worms, Power Eggs in pink, orange or chartreuse. Garlic scented is best. Baitfishing near Jackson Creek with Power Bait is effective. Trout derby starts this Friday and runs through the first week of March. Entry fee is $7. Prizes for tagged fish. (209) 274-4739
